About the job

Job title: Cloud Computing Researcher/Senior Principal Researcher

Work Locations:Beijing (Haidian District) and Shanghai (Pudong District), China

Responsibilities:

·Conduct research on state-of-the-art cloud computing technologies to deliver innovations and product competitiveness.

·Develop and implement prototypes and proof-of-concept models for new methodologies, techniques, and algorithms for performance and effectiveness demonstration.

·Collaborate with cross-functional teams in China Telecom to drive the development of innovative solutions.

·Stay current with the best practices, latest trends and research in cloud computing, and identify potential opportunities.

·Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and conferences, and present research results both internally and externally.

·Collaborate with industry partners and academic institutions to drive joint research projects and initiatives.

·Mentor and guide junior researchers and engineers in their research and development efforts.

Qualifications

·PhD degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, or related technical fields.

·Experience in publishing high-quality academic papers (e.g., SCI Q1, CCF A-level) as a lead author or essential contributor.

·Background in cloud computing and/or the aforementioned 4 research directions.

·Proficiency in at least one programming languages, e.g., Python, Java, C, or C++.

·Excellent English reading and writing skills.
