On the afternoon of June 25, the appointment ceremony for Professor Jie Wu, an academician of the European Academy of Sciences, Chief Scientist of China Telecom, and President of the Cloud Computing Research Institute, as an adjunct professor at the School of Computer Science, Shanghai University, was successfully held. The event took place with the support of Cheng Danhong, Party Secretary of Shanghai University, and Hu Dawei, Deputy Party Secretary and Vice President of Shanghai University.

Professor Jie Wu attended the ceremony alongside Shen Gao, Assistant Dean of the China Telecom Cloud Computing Research Institute, and Haotong Wang, Industry-Academia-Research Business Manager. Also in attendance were Hua Ouyang, former Deputy Party Secretary of Shanghai University; Hongtao Zhu, Party Secretary of the School of Computer Science; Lian Lai, Deputy Party Secretary and Vice Dean; Vice Deans Xiangfeng Luo, Xiaoqiang Li, Guobing Zou, and Liming Xin; Professor Weiqin Tong; as well as young faculty and student representatives.
