On October 28th, the Cloud Computing Research Institute of China Telecom and Tianyi Cloud Technology Co., Ltd. jointly hosted the sixth session of the "China Telecom Distinguished Lecture Series." at the China Telecom Museum. The lecture featured a keynote speech by Professor Jiang Changjun, an esteemed computer scientist and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, titled "Intelligent Three Brains and Intelligent Computing Network".

In his report, Pro. Jiang elucidated the concept and significance of the "intelligent three brains", which encompass computer intelligence, data brain intelligence, and human brain intelligence. He detailed the similarities, differences, strengths, and limitations of these three types of intelligence, as well as their respective applications in specialized domains. He further explored the integration and development of intelligence, discussing how logic and data can be combined in artificial intelligence to drive innovation. Emphasizing the importance of integrating the "intelligent three brains", he highlighted its critical role in advancing the intelligent transformation across various sectors.

Pro. Jiang then shifted focus to the demands of new quality productivity in the digital economy era. He analyzed the strategic background, current status, and challenges of the national "East Data West Computing" initiative. He proposed a "two centers, one system" computing network architecture and introduced container computing technology. During the session, he demonstrated an intelligent computing network system based on container computing and discussed the implementation steps and commercial prospects of the "container-network integration" intelligent computing network system.

The lecture was chaired by Jie Wu, Chief Scientist of China Telecom and President of the Cloud Computing Research Institute, who presented an honorary medal to Academician Jiang Changjun for his contribution as a distinguished guest speaker.

The event was conducted in a hybrid format, combining both online and offline participation. Attendees included representatives from China Telecom Group Corporation, Tianyi Cloud, China Telecom Research Institute, Cloud Computing Research Institute, and other relevant units.
