On August 23, the "Cloud-Network Convergence and Intelligent Computing Network" sub-forum of the 8th Future Network Development Conference was successfully held in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. Senior experts from the industrial and academic communities gathered together to discuss the new chapter of the development of cloud-network convergence and intelligent computing networks.

Jie Wu, Chief Scientist of China Telecom and President of the Cloud Computing Research Institute, attended and delivered a speech. Wu Jie pointed out that the new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation led by artificial intelligence continues to evolve in depth. The computing and networking infrastructure has become one of the key factors affecting national competitiveness. China Telecom has been continuously advancing the multi-level intelligent computing capacity layout, building intelligent computing service platforms, and researching and verifying key technologies such as intelligent computing extension, fully leveraging the advantages of cloud-network convergence. In the practice of cloud-network convergence, facing new demands and challenges, it is necessary to focus on intelligent computing networks as a typical technological focus, to promote basic theoretical research, core technology breakthroughs, and large-scale applications, and to build a cloud-network convergence industry ecosystem, thereby accelerating the evolution towards a unified cloud-network architecture.

In the future, China Telecom will continue to leverage its cloud-network convergence advantages and work hand in hand with partners from all sectors to contribute to the construction of intelligent computing infrastructure.
